Calculation model

Deposit simple interest = P × r × n/12; monthly compound = P × ((1+r/12)^n−1).

Installment simple interest = M × n(n+1)/2 × r/12; monthly compound adds M before each month’s interest. Net interest = gross interest − max(gross interest, 0) × tax rate.

Scope and limits

  • 1–1,200 whole months. Excludes daily accrual conventions, preferential-rate conditions, early withdrawal, fees and comprehensive-income settlement. Standard 15.4% models 14% withholding plus local tax; tax-free/custom modes do not determine eligibility.
